Yes - he is a nice guy who seriously deserves all our sympathy and support while he battles this but .... Pelosi didn't care about that. All she wanted was to preserve the status quo.
Pelosi should not have run. If she does again she should be primaried. She is one of the chief opponents of Medicare for All and an avid participant in insider trading.
Just e-mailed those three ineffective Democrats and told them my position...Do something to defend the Constitution and the American public, or get out of the way. Also promised to help defeat them in their next election bid if they don't.
We all have to let these politicians know we are paying close attention and mean business, and there are no compromises when it comes to our Democratic Republic.

They, with many others, are shouting it from the roofs. But now days, who and to what are we paying attention to? Who can really break through?

I just believe another element in the all-out response to this attack on our country ought to have the additional voices of elected officials who make the laws. I am not a technology expert or anything like that, but there are certainly lots of people who are. That’s about as far as I can go. At 73 years old this old dog won’t be learning any new tricks! Where are Dem leaders loudly contesting the trump plane crash narrative - which is already the dominant one in the media swamp and too many people's minds? I see grassroots doing that, and journalists like you -- but the Dem party leaders are just MIA. We need new leaders - younger, stronger, more forceful and able to respond quickly. The old guard (and sadly, some new ones) are caving - intent on being . . . I don't know what. . . accommodating, bi-partisan, make nice. Way too many voting for cabinet nominees when no Dem votes are needed to confirm. And none of the appointees will do anything other than press trump's autocratic, anti-democracy agenda. There is no bi-partisanship when it's completely one sided. There is no appeasement that will make maga come around to being reasonable partners in running this country. I haven't even finished my first cup of coffee yet, and already my day is a nightmare. Are we really going to have to endure a daily crisis for the foreseeable future? I'm already exhausted and so depressed my hair hurts. I thought of taking a couple of days off from the internet, but it's impossible. I'd undoubtedly be imagining worse horrors.
Where are the Democrats? Have they taken the month off? Or is the media deliberately avoiding them? My Senator, Liz Warren, IS participating in the confirmation hearings - thank God - and maybe she is too consumed with that to be speaking to the press, but there are plenty of other people who need to be telling us what the Hell they are doing to stop the destruction of our country.
