This is a great workaround! I'd still hope to see the word lie used if it is, in fact, warranted. The fact that we are walking on eggshells around use of this term even when it clearly applies says a lot about our how intimidating it's become to be a truth teller because of the potentail wrath that often ensues in it's wake. This admin is like dealing with an abusive family dynamic - the truth about the abuser is denied and the truth-teller becomes the target of punishment and humiliation. It's a powerful social force.
