Yes, it WAS great news, until the day unfolded and Federal Judge Stephen R. Clark issued a temporary restraining order, commanding Missouri to use the new Republican-drawn map anyway.
Also, Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe and Secretary of State Denny Hoskins have directed election authorities to use the 2025 congressional redistricting map, defying the Missouri Supreme Court's unanimous decision and the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling.
This needs a lot of coverage!
It doesn't get any more corrupt than Missouri right now.
I.E. I hope a brilliant Jamie Raskin type sees this fiasco in Missouri and offers to help fight these thugs along with the very hard working "People Not Politicians" grass roots group that beautifully organized and collected 300,000 signatures to fight the unfair map to begin with.
