I am just happy that in Canada our system of justice does not allow for politicians to interfere or direct prosecutions or the courts or the police. The justice system in Canada and the courts is completely separate from the political process.

Well, I was born in Belfast. My parents are American though. I moved to AZ to be with my partner in 2023. We had a small service and guide dog school that was burnt down in a wildfire. In July 2024, I knew we’d have to go…. Once Trump was re-elected, I started planning. Then, I adopted a new dog and that slowed everything down.
Irish citizenship isn’t impossible to get, though it’s more difficult now than it used to be. Hope you can find a way out of this hell.
