We need to prosecute the criminals on the Court! We have at least THREE Justices who've sold decisions for gifts, travel and vacations likely, since before Scalia died. The court may not have an Ethics Policy, but every level they participated in leading up to their appointments DID...and the Law is the Law and they've broken laws!

The best and only way to prevent this from ever happening a second time is to institute a mandatory code of ethics at every level of the judiciary,at each level higher,the code gets harsher and more stringent,a term limit,and mandatory checks by an independent group to determine if and when any judge accepts bribes while calling them "gifts"!

Everyone gets a review of their job performance by their employer. The court should be no different. Start with 8 years. As for president there should be an age limit of no more than 65. We need presidents that are more in line with a revolving world. People aging get set in their ways so we need presidents that go with the times.

Equally important, he proposed a follow-up/monitoring/review system for ethical guidelines with stated consequences for violations. I'd also highly recommend involving Glenn Kirschner, who has given careful thought to safeguards and oversight. And others like Kim Wehle. The loopholes were custom-designed for this administration. It's a heartbreak!

My only quibble is on an eight year term. I would make it longer (10 or 12 or 15 years vs 8). A larger court may make 8 years effective though.

Rather than expand the SCOTUS (an enormous expense to the beleaguered tax payer) why can’t Congress do their job for once?
