You helped put my book on the New York Times bestseller list. If you liked mine, you'll love my fellow independent creator's new book, too and you'll want to reserve your copy now.
I’ve started reading my previously pre ordered book by Brian and of course I already preordered David’s! Two great guys fighting for democracy and well, what’s right and good.
I've read both of Brian's books but have not yet read David's. I will put them on my Reading List and cannot wait to VOTE EARLY IN PERSON for DEMOCRATS at my local county Board of Elections in late October or early November in 2026. I like to VOTE EARLY IN PERSON so I can vote on my schedule at my convenience. There's no waiting in line, there are helpful election workers there to answer any questions and I can vote when it is convenient for my work schedule. There's also no ICE or Military at these larger county locations either--at least not yet! Independent Media is so important now to give Americans the truth and facts. Thanks Guys!
I do NOT work for Democracy Docket BUT: Every American who believes in Voting rights and not the suppressors of voting rights. Mark your calendar to listen to Marc Elias at least once a week.
🤔 Never heard him attack allies. Are you talking about his stance on Netanyahu's administration? Because with Netanyahu there is no 2 State solution. His solution is to immorally ethnically cleanse the region and to take control of the U.S. military with his authored Section 219 of the 2027 U.S. NDAA. That's not an ally.
I don't see the problem. I'm an Independent that leans Social Democrat with some conservative views. A lot of his perspectives make sense to me, but not all of them. If you alienate anyone that doesn't endorse 100% of your own views, you lose. There's always going to be a Fetterman here and there. I don't want a party of full of Schumer's so I get it.
We all need to stop trashing people. Obviously, we don't all agree on everything but we do have a common goal (I hope). For the good of all the people.
Brian, don't pump Pakman's book... when "liberals" and democrats start dismantling progressives (like @hasanabi) based on what they wear (the "Mao suit"... maybe it's a "Hillary suit"?) instead of their policy positions, then we have a big problem, and those who do that, don't deserve to have their books promoted by more thoughtful advocates such as yourself. Let's stick to the issues and not the labels, because as you know, the substance of a book, is not the cover.
I'm not aware of Mr Pakman attacking any allies. I find him to be a logical, systematic analyst. David, i know about... But you, who criticize him, i don't know. So shush.
I don't hear that. I hear honest and fair critique given where it's needed. If everyone on the left consolidated unconditional support of potential candidates, it would be setting them up for failure amongst the Citizenry. You may not agree with that, but it's true regardless. The advantages of being thouroughly Independent is the ability to listen to all sides and evaluate what will and won't not just unseat maga’s, but what will garner support to implement more progressive ideas. When asked about individual policies, even a large number of conservatives agree with them in principle. How it's presented to them makes all the difference. Helping left wing candidates learn how to recognize that is a challenge
I don't think David punches left at all.. i think he's an excellent communicater.. and it sounds like you agree. I don't know where people get their stange ideas
No, no, no. Do you actually want to implement fundamental changes that will genuinely benefit people? If you do, leave Pakman behind. He's more of the same, bland liberal crap that has gotten us nowhere. Pakman, Cohen and the Pod Johns from Pod Save America are garbage that will ultimately uphold the status quo. How do we know? Because that's what they've always done. A loser like Pakman pretending he doesn't know how to pronouce the word "AIPAC" and then buying into the bigotry and saying Piker was "dressed like Mao." Give me a break. He's buying into the right wing, red scare propaganda.
You should be critical of Pakman. He is not a stupid person. He’s just promulgating more of the useless, McKinsey DNC talking points that have accomplished nothing and failed to prevent the endless amounts of harm happening all over the world at this exact moment.
And for all of the above, and the fact that you’re supporting this person, people should be critical of you, BTC.
Same 🤮 you people fucking don’t get it. Division instead of fighting the one true problem presented right fucking now by the right. At this rate we won’t deserve to keep our democracy and fight for a change that can include all our voices. FRO
Exactly. This is the mistake the left gets into all the time. Fighting about stuff. We should be talking about things we agree on. Policies that will help the most people, Not ragging on people we don't agree with on some point. One thing about the right is they don't do this. They have talking points (as odious as they may be) and they stick together on them which is why they won the last election. We need to do the same. There are certain issues I think we can all agree upon. Ending wars, education, health care, jobs, housing, etc. The rest we can 'discuss' later.
Thank you! This so 💯 I’m afraid I just get so angry when I see this, though I sometimes think upon reflection they are possibly Russian trolls stirring us up 😂 that’s thx to having listened to the wonderful ladies Julie Roginsky and Olga Lautman. But seriously these commenters here in particular appear to be determined at divisiveness as the end result.
There is a very real war going on in the algorithms right now, sponsored by foreign bad actors using AI. The intelligence theatre of war has shifted entirely from the societal upheaval goals of "Active measures," to the digital goals of disinformation and seeding mistrust in those institutions trying to protect people. Mr trump's foreign ties and continuing deception ISN'T HELPING. But, as you point out: if all of us don't change our focus to saving our democracy, we very likely won't have one left. That's an UNACCEPTABLE outcome. Unity is essential. We can work with each other on the inside, once maga/trump is replaced.
Congratulations on making the NYT bestseller list.
I've read his first book and I look forward to reading his second one too
You're such a class act. No selfishness or gate keeping in your blood.
I’ve started reading my previously pre ordered book by Brian and of course I already preordered David’s! Two great guys fighting for democracy and well, what’s right and good.
Sounds good

Fuck David packman. He needs to stop attacking allies.

We’re talking about his CONSTANT adoption of rightwing framing to punch left. Do we want a whole party of Fettermans? Keep it up.

David is hardly a Fetterman.
Nice language! There are thousands of his readers and admirers. What have you done to be admired other than with your vulgarity?
Grow up.
That is NOT True!!!! What a mean, obnoxious rotten, rude, fouled mouth comment you posted! Shame On You!
We all need to stop trashing people. Obviously, we don't all agree on everything but we do have a common goal (I hope). For the good of all the people.
And fuck you for your comment. 🤔
Lol😄

He’s constantly punching left. We ALL need to punch right at the moment.

I watch David quite a bit and have not heard this. What are you talking about?

I'm unable to edit my comments. The word intended was "strange."
Congratulations on your book and David Packman's New Book!!!!
The good people of this country will defeat the evil of trumpworld.

I woke up this morning and had the same thought about Russian trolls.
David's first book Echo Machine was excellent!! This one will be too!!
