I read the "bootleg" copy in Canada has had more viewership than the 60 Minutes airing would have enjoyed. I saw it. If a picture is worth 1000 words, then a video is worth millions.

You can watch him in pieces on YouTube. After CBS settled with tRump on his bogus lawsuit, I have boycotted all other CBS content.

I have ONE complaint. To keep calling these criminals 'conservative' is a mistake and does a disservice to that word. These criminals need to be called out responsibly, It is not a "coordinated conservative movement" , it is a 'coordinated corrupt movement'. We need to call it what it is! Thank you!!

Quit calling him president, since he's really not. The election was stolen. I'm pretty sure there are some congressional races that were affected also.

Walter Cronkite and Edward R. Murrow must be turning in their graves. (Thanks Brian for standing strong on news reporting and keeping us informed.)

This was our starting point —

"Where the press is free and every man able to read, all is safe". ~ Thomas Jefferson

This is where we are now —

"The moment we no longer have a free press, anything can happen. What makes it possible for a totalitarian or any other dictatorship to rule is that people are not informed. … If everybody always lies to you, the consequence is not that you believe the lies, but rather that nobody believes anything any longer". ~ Hannah Arendt

Decide where you want to be. I’m more on the side of the starting point ..

Excellent article, Brian! I cannot believe how Weiss has destroyed the reputation of a storied show like 60 Minutes.

I can be destroyed, but never, EVER bow to this fascista regime we are in! 😡 I cannot help for now with money, but can count that I will ALWAYS continue support and share your independent commentary! Brian, David, Joy, Don, Marc, Gregg, and so many who are doing their part, as well as me, as I can over time, but I wi try to double my efforts, in Spanish, to bring these to more people: that is my truth and my commitment!!

When the Ellison family/group successfully acquired Paramount, parent company to CBS, I knew things were going to change and not for the better. When Bari Weiss was named editor-in-chief of CBS, I experienced a sense of foreboding that turned to disgust. It made me think back to the halcyon (yes, halcyon, really!) days of my youth when we had newspapers, newsreels at the movies, radio and only two channels of television. Radio & TV came only over the airwaves, of course. As for the news, it was real news before "entertainment news" had been birthed and the FCC had the "Fairness Doctrine" (anyone that doesn't know what that is, I would encourage "Google-ing" it and, I bet, some will be amazed!). Well, the bad and sad thing about basking in such memories of halcyon days, at least for me, is that after it a few seconds or a few minutes of warm fuzzies, my mind regroups and reality returns with a quickness and I feel like I've been pierced by a cold steel lance. It's then that I become grateful for what we do have that works today and which we so sorely need. So thanks, everyone at BTC, for everything you do to keep real news, hard news, news based on facts, cold and hard, as they often should be. If Bill Paley returned from the grave for just a bit to see what had happened to his CBS, he would shake his head, then go find a good basketball game. If by chance, he had Ed Murrow with him, Ed would pass on the game and be vociferously engaged in a conversation with Brian, et al, debating some aspect of journalism and media. I don't know exactly what that would be, but I do know one thing it wouldn't - they wouldn't be debating the truth and whether to print it in the next drop of BTC!
