As they say, "The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." — Dante Alighieri

This bill will hit Alaska residents hard, no matter what special favors she tried to curry. I hope the people of Alaska see thru this charade. And remember.

That's the thing here, she was just reelected, so had nothing to fear for another 5 or so years, and you know the shortness of memory that voters have, esp. when, had so cast her vote against this big bogus bill, she would have actually HELPED her constituents on a longer term basis than short-term comical carveouts.

No he doesn't. He just waves a bag full of money in their face's to agree with him. And EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN rolls over for him. Most hold out for more. As the Senate just did. As soon as they got their magic number, bingo, the bill is passed. You seriously can't think that Republicans in Congress aren't in all the corruption with taco.... can you??? If they weren't the bill wouldn't have passed. In a way, I feel sorry for you lot. Sorry because you're not educated enough to know you're all being ripped off by a cheap uneducated criminal. Who has corrupted your ENTIRE government. The only reason he appealed to 70 odd million who voted for him, is because of his love for violence, racism, hatred and greed!

They’re afraid of his mob. Rich white people aren’t familiar with living under threat so they have no coping skills. No one gets more threats, and more horrible threats, than the Democratic women of color in Congress, but they’ve spent a lot of time in hostile environments. They don’t back down.

But when it was time to vote to convict him on the impeachment counts from J6, GOP Senators agreed he should be forbidden from holding office — but talked about the threats they were getting. They mutually decided protecting themselves from the possibility of harm was more important than protecting democracy from a vindictive criminal.
