Excellent summation of the plot and players…as usual. I think we all need to keep in mind that these disheveled characters - including Mitch McConnell and Clarence Thomas, who happen to be offstage right now, are really little boys who were beaten up and shoved into lockers. They had no real friends. Their youths were spent in either terror or misery and unless they study some key scenes from ‘The Chosen’ will never understand that we no longer live in the Old Testament, where an eye for an eye (any eye) will do.

This will not end well for anyone because it is borne of fear, resentment and vengeance.

N’ary a trace of maturity or wisdom among them.

I agree that many are the bullied and abused getting their playground revenge. But often the bullied at home, like Trump and possibly Vance, become the bullies and the mean girls at school. They imitate the bully act of others until it is who they are, the scared little child safely walled in and out of sight. The final result is that the government will be run by the maladjusted who have a grudge against humanity and who think their only safe place is where they have control. That they are all eminently unqualified and know it is what will possibly make them more defensive and therefore more dangerous.

Really and truly, all of this is at once hysterically funny and profoundly sad. It's funny from the standpoint that so many people were blindly led to vote for things that are now becoming a bait and switch scam, and now the same bunch of people are at each other's throats and screaming in all caps at each other.

The sad part is how the argument exposes how very crappy our education system has become, mostly due to the"WOKE"hysteria that's taking over our schools and universities. And now they want to eliminate the federal Department of Education,to further erode any chance for our kids to be able to actually have the degrees needed to do the high tech jobs they now want foreign people to be brought in to do.Of course, those same foreigners will become indentured servants with no rights and low pay, unlike actual US citizens who can demand good wages and benefits that by law they would be entitled to.Why would the morbidly wealthy want that?

I hope these people will fight in the streets and kill off each other, and that they are the protesters the National Guard are sent to fight with and tell THEM that they have no right to assemble to protest the government.

Meanwhile, will our actual government even stand in all this uproar they caused their damned selves?Or will they finally see the folly in all this, and throw the whole bunch of clowns out and allow us to elect people who actually WANT TO GOVERN.Imagine that...

All we can do is hope that cooler heads will prevail and hopefully stop all this madness.

Yes, education especially in red states is not being well funded and the country will pay the price. However, look at the kids winning big scholarships, Nobel winners in the US, many are children of immigrants. They are our future.

Not well funded and too much of the funding is going to circuses, a.k.a. team sports to distract from other problems and keep the students uneducated in preparation for low paying factory or mining jobs. Read Barbara Kingsolver’s Pulitzer Prize winning Demon Copperhead for a more accurate portrayal of Appalachia than Vance’s Hillbilly Elagy. Fiction, in the right hands, can be truer than non-fiction created out of an unhappy and resentful mind.

What a classy bunch. One old preacher said, I don’t know what’s so special about the upper crust. There just a bunch of crumbs held together by a whole lotta dough.

Yep. Put the fuckers in a ring and let them fight it out. The winner can play pied piper and lead the rats out of the country.

The problem with your post, Brian, is that it is filled with common sense, and those who really need to read it won't.

There is a spark on the hill all those fools are on. If you think California wild fires are big, sit back and watch...I hope they all go up in smoke.

I consider it my duty to talk to EVERY YOUNG PERSON I MEET about protecting our right to vote, and suggest they think of running for office. 2026 will be upon us quicker than a flash, and could be a chance to pivot from the upcoming nightmare.

Thank you, Brian. Wow. What a zoo. - actually a zoo is better. Not a good analogy. Hope you’re having good holidays and the best to you in the new year. Take care. 💙

We still need you and your friends to keep track of all the players and their shenanigans. Appreciate that. Where is the VP elect in all of this or are they keeping quiet and out of the line of fire?

So appreciative to you for highlighting this ludicrous boomerang social media "distraction"
