Change your W2 so you have no federal tax withholding. If millions of middle income Americans did this, it would send a loud message. If you have democratic senators let them know they shouldn’t pass the January 30th budget unless there are significant reductions to DHS and specifically ICE funding. Also that you won’t forgive another cave from them.

But yes, I’d certainly advocate for any state that the Doofus in Chief withholds money from return the favor. Wouldn’t California be funny? Musk got all our banking info back when he first broke into the Treasury in the middle of a Saturday night and he and his little sac of horrors locked themselves in for several days. They could easily just take it from our accounts without even notifying us.
You have to authorize any deduction from your account. Even from the federal government. I’m not suggesting you don’t pay your taxes, I’m saying don’t pay them early. Why let tRump use your money to wage war and build his arch of drumpf when it could be in your own account making money for you? They aren’t due until April 14th.
That said, I’ve not paid my taxes in protest in the past though I’ve always filed them. It’s not much of a protest if they don’t know you’re doing it. Plus, failing to pay is civil, failing to file is a felony. It took them so long to get it together it rolled off-by law they have 10 years to collect or they eat it.

And Trump is using our tax dollars to arm, feed, clothe, provide weapons, transport them in bit expensive SUVs, and pays them to brutalize and assault our citizens that they are supposed to be protecting. That is the government's job! To provide us protection, security and stability.

You’ll have to take them to the post office and have it postmarked in front of you (I’d snap a photo) because they’ve changed when mail gets postmarked in yet another attempt to subvert voting.
Words matter. How information is reported matters. Do not amplify Trumps, maga, Project 2025 propaganda voice bites and videos. Speak truth and reference, move on in truth as best we all can discern. This is no easy task, but one well worth doing.

I do not have social media, I only lasted about 12 hours on the substack app because I thought it was so obnoxious. I have independent media that I support and follow via email and sometimes YouTube, but I feel pretty well informed and don’t feel obsessed to look at it every second.
I didn’t even notice my Verizon was down until I tried to make a phone call in the afternoon. I’m not sure when it came back on, but it was mostly phone calls that didn’t work. My messaging wasn’t down for long. They gave me a $20 credit for my next bill for what I’d call minimal inconvenience.
I subscribe to Zeteo, Democracy Docket, Glenn Kirschner (who I watch almost nightly, at double speed hehe)The Lever, The Nerd Reich and a couple of others. I have no mainstream media subscriptions-I canceled them to divert the funds to PBS and NPR.
I’ve never seen any of the propaganda films mentioned.
If trump couldn’t get to his audience for 10 hours, that must’ve caused some worry and a lot of hope. My word, without trump tweeting his distractions every half hour, people probably started thinking about the Epstein files again😂
This makes me physically ill. ICE, with the blessing of this administration, is creating video content— games— of human suffering. It’s like snuff porn. I cannot stomach the fact that we’re allowing this to happen.

Back in 2003 we had an east coast blackout . My town was affected for almost 3 days. I loved it. And the internet was in its infancy.
