As long as we continue to work hard and maybe even harder. We must not get sucked in by all the polls that seem to say Americans are fed up with the GOP. We have to work as hard as we can toget voters registered and be sure they actually vote. I don't know for sure but some folks said that if the majority of voters who did not vote in the last election had voted Harris would have won. I do think a lot of people did not vote because they thought trump did not have a chance but I don't know if that was enough people to have made a difference. We cannot let that happen again.

When considering the long-term health and mental development of our children we must consider the dangers of giving our phone to a 2 or 3 year old just to entertain them so they won't bother us. When our brains are building neurons it cannot decipher between the virtual world of the phone and the reality we live in. It treats everything it experiences as real. With kids playing online games such as "Grand Theft Auto" among other inappropriate games at younger and younger ages, it has a real effect on how a child's brain develops. We would never allow our 2 year olds to drive our cars and we should never give them our phones for the purpose of our own convenience.

It just amazed me last year when a huge corporation like ABC, with thousands of very smart employees and a army of lawyers, bowed the knee to Trump and payed him off, thinking he wouldn’t come after them again. McConnell is mainly responsible for Trump being in office a second time because he refused to have the Senate vote on his impeachment, instead stating there are courts to deal with things like that, and we all know what a disaster that turned out to be. Any Republican who bows down to Trump will never get my vote again and that is why I feel I need to vote BLUE!

The moral of the story is, when you feed the monster it will grow and eventually want more. People can think they are educated all they want but if there are no critical thinking skills to back it up the education is worthless.

I understand and agree with what you are saying. When considering the long-term health and mental development of our children we must consider the dangers of giving our phone to a 2 or 3 year old just to entertain them so they won't bother us. When our brains are building neurons it cannot decipher between the virtual world of the phone and the reality we live in. It treats everything it experiences as real. With kids playing online games such as "Grand Theft Auto" among other inappropriate games at younger and younger ages, it has a real effect on how a child's brain develops. We would never allow our 2 year olds to drive our cars and we should never give them our phones for the purpose of our own convenience.

Got your book and am raring to go to read it. Drumpf is a thug, pure and simple, and now a cornered thug. I fear for the mid-terms. I plan to take election day off to peacefully monitor for any ICE or other intimidation. If I see it, I can't guarantee my restraint but will video and make full use of my 1st Amendment rights.
You need to guarantee your restraint. They will use any lack of restraint to make it even harder for the rest of us to vote. They will be looking for that lack of restraint. You know he wants to invoke the insurrection act and stop the election or the counting of the votes. If you see illegal action, call the police. Take videos and photos. Send your footage to local and national journalists! IMMEDIATELY! Post the videos and photos online EVERYWHERE. Call the offices of sympathetic politicians. Make signs to let others know what’s happening. Protest peacefully.
You and all observers have got to remain totally peaceful and if possible be in pairs so one can video everything that happens.
It just amazed me last year when a huge corporation like ABC, with thousands of very smart employees and a army of lawyers, bowed the knee to Trump and payed him off, thinking he wouldn’t come after them again. Duh! In what world do you live? Coming after you again for even more is not only authoritarian behavior, it’s also schoolyard bullying behavior. And basically that’s what Trump is - a schoolyard bully, who’d love to be an authoritarian, but doesn’t have the guts to go after it and will always back down when pressed. But if you give him your lunch money, he’ll come at you for more the next day and the next until you finally say ‘enough’ then he’ll go crying to the teacher about how badly he’s always treated. He’s just a bully.
