Terrific interview with a terrific ex-president. Obama's integrity and moral code are sorely missed today.

This was an excellent interview. Thank you BTC. I am impressed that Pres Obama doesn’t react to donald in an equally insulting way. Donald cannot hold a candle to Obama.

Brian, we all loved the interview with President Obama! What an honor! And yes, the Democratic party needs someone who can inspire Americans, especially young people, who right now, have the most to lose under this terrible administration. All of the things they care about, the Climate, Housing, Jobs, Education, Families, were all subjects that President Obama discussed as a way to get the voters out of complacency. He will ALWAYS be such an inspirational and motivating leader. Thank you so much for your hard work Brian!

Great interview per usual. Great to hear from the President. I understand his position in supporting the Democratic Party but I was hoping for a shift more along the lines of Bernie & AOC ... the Democratic Party has to change or be changed. What happened in the 2024 (and 2016) elections was completely avoidable.

Love President Obama but have to agree. The values across the party leadership are not the same. Most stand with corporations and AIPAC, others stand for all the people. When they campaigned on raising the middle class they were saying screw you to millions of Americans. They brought us Trump one and 2. They couldn't beat a convicted felon. They are leading us toward Trump forever. Change is needed.

The interview with Obama was so insightful and reminded us of what a president should say to unite us. With all the police nonsense going on, hearing him speak restores my faith that someday we’ll be better. Thank you for doing the interview.

Your podcasts are excellent! I don't think Democrats lost inclusiveness, but I think they lost some energy. I feel like we've started to rebound, we need to keep it going. Obama was a fantastic president but not sure I agree with him on social media. Many Americans are avid social media users, that's why honest podcasts like yours are essential for integrity in democracy!

I admire Obama and his calm demeanor after the vicious attack by Trump and whoever does his T.S. posts. But he has to be fuming inside! Being forced to maintain his dignity while the crassest, most boorish slob EVER in the presidential office throws juvenile racist insults at him has to be tough! We simply must win enough seats in November to impeach the pig and make it stick!

Megan S said exactly what I was going to say! So just let me add:

https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-begin-drafting-articles-of-impeachment-against-trump <done for you letter to your Congress/Senate people to Demand IMPEACH djt NOW! Killing us in the streets, trying to silence our 4th Estate, Tulsi STEALING voter records in Fulton County (this one tells me they intend to eff with our elections.) If you have a Republican rep. tell them djt is NOT an asset, and they can be fired too! NOTE: Democrat just won in RED, RED TX district where djt won by 17 pts. This man won by 14 pts, so 31 pt. swing! If you would rather call the number is 202-224-3121. Come on people now WE need to stand up for our country and our democracy.
